exorcist Review by: Jason Defillippo I'm going to tell you right now that this game is not pretty. The graphics are hodgepodge and the text looks pretty god-awful but don't let that fool you one bit. This game is REALLY FUN! I generally hate accelerometer games but this one has quite a unique twist. You don't just have to move the unit to pick an arbitrary direction but you also have to select a quadrant where the movement will affect. It makes for a crazy time trying to get your head around how to move the phone and get things to go where you want to go. The game is on sale now for .99ยข and well worth the price. There weren't a lot of reviews so this one was a leap of faith and I'm glad I took it. The games don't last too long so it's a good short game for when you only have a few minutes to kill. It has global online leader-boards so you can see how much you suck compared to the rest of the world while you get really good at your hand eye motion coordination. Check out the gameplay trailer & official site or just go buy the damn thing.

Bejeweled 2 by PopCap

Review by: Tara Brown bejeweled2Girls like their bling bling. I was an addict on the PC and now I'm an addict on the iPhone 3G. I blame my friend Crystal who told me it was available and in the same breath how it was like crack. I think it's great that there are different play modes: Classic, Action, and Endless but I'm a classic kind of girl and tend to play that the most while enjoying backgrounds of I don't know what - the desert, Mars? The coolest effect is when I Level Up and get to zoom through a worm hole. I also appreciate the large lettered "Excellent" when I get lots of points - it makes me feel all proud of myself. It's such a perfect game for the iPhone form factor, and it's easy to start and easy to end. OK, maybe not so easy to end. If you are looking for a game that doesn't require a lot of hand movement or intense calculations and has lots of sparkly jewels, Bejeweled 2 from Pop Cap is for you! And it's a steal for $2.99.
