WHY ADVERTISE ON iPHUN?
iPhun is a video review show and blog dedicated to the iPhone and iPod touch gamer.
The episodes themselves are very short and to the point with a dose of humor. Each episode either focuses on rating a game with a clear indication by the hosts if it's "Worth It" or a "Rip Off" or interviewing a cutting edge game developer.
The blog post reviews are written by hard-core gamers and provide insight into whether they really love a particular game or just can't recommend it.
As an advertiser, you have the opportunity to advertise on a website that has a very specific focus and audience: fans that have an iPhone or iPod touch and like to play games on them.
TARGET AUDIENCE
As of June 2009, Apple said that they have sold more than 40 million iPhone and iPod touches, and more than 50,000 apps in the iTunes App Store.
Compete performed a survey and found that "iPhone users mostly download games (79 percent)."
Nielsen reported that the age of iPhone users is diverse, with more than half of the users being in the age range of 25 to 54 and 40% of those with household incomes of $100k or more.
Also of note is that 37% of iPhone users watch video on their phone, making iPhun appealing to iPhone users as they can both watch and read the video reviews.
